The restaurant “Na Burji” is located at the very foothill of the Slovenian Istra, in a pleasant and blissful Istrian village Nova vas, in the municipality of Piran. The restaurant is a real temple of Istrian culture and gastronomy. The special warm, homelike atmosphere, epitomized by the villagers at evening gatherings while playing cards, the exhibited antiquities of Chef’s collection, which depict the customs and life of ancient villagers, escorts us to near and distant past of this blissful hinterland environment.

Here are forests, gorges, fields and pastures, orchards, here are homesteads and pleasant people. It lies high above the Baška gorge, on the slope of the cumulus Kojca, with a view of the mighty Porezen Mountain.
